• green coconuts (water coconut ) are young coconuts that are full of delicious coconut water, may contain some soft meat (jelly) , but mostly used for their delicious water, if you are more of need for its meat, you may be disappointed as some coconuts may have not grown up meat or simply thin meat or no meat at all.

• cut coconut young (shaved), you often saw in retail stores are cut green coconuts for your convenience, some are with straw, some are not, are basically for its water too

• Brown varieties of coconuts are mature and contain white coconut flesh, meat is its main contents and may also contain a bit of coconut water
